However, those don’t exhaust its uses. Pots with lids have ribbed bottoms and can also be used for baking and serving food. Unlike most dishes by Bolesławiec, they are not decorated with stamps, but glazed in a uniform dark brown color and also fired at high temperature, which makes them resistant to damage. The pots can be used in the oven, stored in the fridge and washed in dishwashers. Thanks to the lid, the food does not get cold so quickly, and the top of the dish does not brown or dry out during baking. This decoration is simple, classic, although it cannot be said that it clearly refers to the tradition of Bolesławiec. Peas? Colic? Dots? Call it what you want, but be sure to check how the tea tastes in a cup with such a motif. All the decorations of the dishes, manufactured in Zakłady Ceramiczne "BOLESŁAWIEC", are made by hand painters using traditional methods - using stamps and brushes. After the stage of decorating and glazing, the dishes are subjected to a second firing at high temperature, thanks to which both the dish and the decoration gain resistance to damage and color change. Each hand-decorated item is one-of-a-kind, as minor variations in decoration are inevitable.
