However, those don’t exhaust its uses. Pots with lids have ribbed bottoms and can also be used for baking and serving food. Unlike most dishes by Bolesławiec, they are not decorated with stamps, but glazed in a uniform dark brown color and also fired at high temperature, which makes them resistant to damage. The pots can be used in the oven, stored in the fridge and washed in dishwashers. Thanks to the lid, the food does not get cold so quickly, and the top of the dish does not brown or dry out during baking. A-1198A decorationIt is a decoration for those who like floral patterns, not in an idyllic, but a modern, simplified version. There are blue flowers emerging from a tangle of tiny green leaves and sticky tendrils. The charming chaos is slightly toned down by the dark rim of the dishes. All decorations of the ceramic dishes manufactured in Zakłady Ceramiczne "BOLESŁAWIEC" are made by painters by hand using traditional methods - stamps and brushes. After the stage of decorating and glazing, the ceramic dishes are subjected to a second firing at high temperature, thanks to which both the dish and the decoration gain resistance to damage and colour change. Each hand-decorated item is one-of-a-kind, as slight variations in decoration patterns are inevitable.
