The container can be used to store larger cutlery, being an extraordinary decoration for a kitchen worktop, in kitchens decorated in a traditional and modern style. It can also make a nice flowerpot. You can put several plants on your windowsill, not necessarily with the same pattern, but keeping to the same colour range. The ceramic dish can be washed in a dishwasher, and thanks to glazing and high-temperature firing, the decoration is resistant to damage. Like all the pottery of Zakłady Ceramiczne "BOLESŁAWIEC", the containers or covers are decorated by hand with stamps and brushes, thanks to which each is unique, and therefore there may be minimal differences in decoration between individual items within one decoration.D-56 decorationOne of the oldest and most classic decorations from the "BOLESŁAWIEC" Ceramic Works combines stamps in the characteristic "peacock eye" pattern with hand-painted leaves. The stamping method is a traditional technique for decorating dishes dating back to 1882, when local potters invented a decoration made using a sponge with underglaze paints in intense cobalt blue and green colors. Despite many years passing, this form of decoration remains consistently popular among contemporary enthusiasts of Bolesławiec pottery.
